Overview

The Otsego Planning Commission advises and assists the City Council in matters relating to land use and development of the City. The Planning Commission participates in the establishment of the City's Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance and other development related policies and controls. The Planning Commission also reviews residential, commercial and industrial development proposals and makes recommendations to the City Council as to consistency with the goals of the Comprehensive Plan and compliance with Zoning Ordinance and/or Subdivision Ordinance requirements.
