Septic Inspection Info: We've listed both the MPCA (State's) and Wright County's requirements. Wright County has a 'Point of Sale' ordinance for septic systems. If you are buying or selling a home in Wright County, the following requirements must be met prior to sale.
System passed - Certificate of Compliance issued:
- Brand New System
- MPCA - Certificate is good for 5 years
- Wright County - Certificate is good for 1 year (you'll fill out the county's form and attach the MPCA's / state's form)
- Existing System
- MPCA - Certificate is good for 3 years
- Wright County - Certificate is good for 1 year (you'll fill out the county's form and attach the MPCA's / state's form)
System did not pass - Certificate of Compliance says 'Noncompliant System':
- Failing to protect groundwater
- The system shall be upgraded, replaced or its use discontinued within six months of notice
- Imminent threat to public health and safety
- The system shall be abated within ten days of notice
- The system shall be upgraded, replaced, repaired or its use discontinued, within 6 months of notice

DAYS AND HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION:
New Construction
The erection (including excavation) and build-out of any new building shall occur only between the following hours:
Monday through Friday: Seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. to seven o'clock (7:00) P.M.
Saturday: Eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. to five o'clock (5:00) P.M.
No work allowed on Sundays or official Federal holidays.
Existing Construction
The expansion, demolition, alteration, or repair of any existing building shall occur only between the following hours:
Monday through Saturday: Seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. to ten o'clock (10:00) P.M.
Sunday: Eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. to ten o'clock (10:00) P.M.
