History

Discover the history of the land Wilfred and Rose Friedrich purchased - 140 acres near what is now Odean Avenue and 75th Street in Otsego in 1953, where they and their son Vernon ran a mixed dairy and crop farm for decades. Over time the land was sold for residential development—including the neighborhood park named in their honor.
